White-label internal audit software
White-label internal audit software is an audit system that carries your organisation's name, logo and wording instead of the vendor's. Your auditors, your auditees and your audit committee see your system. AuditEase Pro does this from the environment it is deployed with, so the same product serves any brand: the login screen, every page, the sidebar and the PDF reports carry your name.
What white-label actually covers
The word is used loosely, so it is worth being exact. In AuditEase Pro these carry your brand:
- The login screen and every page of the app, including the sidebar.
- The application name, your organisation's name and a tagline you choose.
- Your logo, at whatever size and shape your brand uses.
- The PDF audit report and the draft report, which name your organisation as the issuer.
- The address the system runs at, if you point your own domain at it.
Why audit teams ask for it
Internal audit writes for two audiences who are rarely impressed by a vendor's logo: the business owners who receive observations, and the audit committee that reads the report. A report that looks like a tool's output invites questions about the tool. A report that carries the organisation's own name invites questions about the finding, which is the conversation the auditor wanted.
There is a practical reason too. When the audit function rolls the system out to auditees, it is asking them to log in to something and answer questions honestly. An internal address, internal branding and internal wording make that an internal process rather than a third party collecting answers.
What it costs you
Almost nothing in effort. The brand is set when we deploy your instance: name, app name, tagline and a logo file. Changing it later is a setting, not a rebuild, so a rebrand or a name change is a short job rather than a project.
What it does cost is the assumption that you are one of many tenants in a shared system. Branding is only honest if the deployment really is yours, which is why AuditEase Pro is single-tenant: your own deployment, your own database.
How to check it yourself
The live demo is branded Hikmah Technologies, and that is the point: it is the same image every customer runs, with a different brand. Open it, look at the sidebar, then generate a report from an audit and look at the header on the PDF. What you see there is what your own name would replace.
Common questions
- Can we use our own domain?
- Yes. The system runs at an address you control, for example audit.yourcompany.com, since it is deployed for you alone.
- Does the white-label extend to the reports?
- Yes. The PDF audit report and the draft report carry your organisation's name, and the templates themselves can be adapted to your report format.
- Can we change the brand later?
- Yes. The brand comes from the deployment's settings, so a new name or logo is a configuration change, not a new build.
- Is Hikmah Technologies named anywhere in our deployment?
- Not in the product your users see. Hikmah Technologies is the company you contract with and the team that builds and supports it.
